Workwear Inspiration (On a Budget!)

3:28:00 PM

I've loved having an internship this semester because it's the perfect excuse to break out all my favorite workwear clothes!

It's also INCREDIBLY stressful to come up with professional and interesting outfits every day. With that being said, I've compiled some of my favorite outfits from the last month to hopefully give you a little bit of inspiration.

Sweater: J. Crew Tippi Sweater (majorly on sale and the perfect basic in a great material; wearing size XXS, but would probably prefer the XS in this one which is my regular size)
Pants: Old Navy Pixie Pants, AKA my favorite work pants and the only style that I wear! I got these on sale for less than $20 and have somewhere in the realm of 10 colors/patterns.

Pants: More Old Navy Pixie pants!!! These are an old pattern (that I happened to get on sale for like $13), but they always have fun patterns out.
Tank: $9 at Target and not sheer at all. It's always better to spend a little less on white tanks and tees if you ask me because my self tanning habit means I'm always replacing mine.
Cardigan: Currently on sale at J. Crew and officially the only cardigans I wear. I have several colors.
Necklace: Purchased from My Kim Collection last year. I have a huge necklace collection, so I always seem to add one into my daily outfits for some extra pizazz.

Turtleneck: It was actually cold one day in January?! What what??!! My mom actually gave me this turtleneck out of her collection, but this one is on sale at J. Crew right now. I highly recommend them for an easy, classic outfit on chilly days.
Skirt: On clearance for $20 at Express, but sold out :( This one is pretty darn similar though at a similar price point.
Over the Knee Boots: Old, similar here. I've gotten tons of use out of my pair

Pants: More Pixie Pants! I can't be tamed!! I do promise they're the best though. I don't need any alterations on mine and they can be thrown in the washer and dryer.
Sweater: I've honestly probably had this sweater since I was 14, but here's a similar idea on clearance at Target.
Ballet Flats: LOVE these. They're the Tory Burch Minnie Flats and by far my favorite shoes Tory makes. That's because they're also the only comfortable ones she makes. These look just like Tory's Reva flats, which I had for years but was never able to break in. They're pricey, but I got mine on sale over the holidays and wear them so much that it's definitely worth the splurge.

Sweater Dress: Another Old Navy pick, also old! As you can see, I wear a ton of Old Navy. It's inexpensive and the quality holds up for years. Here's another cute sweater dress option that's a bit more multi seasonal than mine (and also on sale!) It was freezing cold (HA... relative term) and raining the day I wore this outfit.
Boots: These are some wedge boots by Jessica Simpson. These are seriously the greatest. I've worn them on trips to NYC and to football games and they're the most comfortable boots I own.

I hope this gives you a little outfit inspiration to make it through the rest of the week! Let me know if you recreate any outfits or find a great sale. I'd love to see!!!
